Made some math notation changes

Hi Bjaijayanthi,

I made some math notation changes for you. If you dont agree with the symbols I used, them please let me know so I will revert them.

Hi Gladys Thanks for sending me the latex tables. I wanted to put more complicated expressions; I think I will be able to do it now. In case I have any difficulty I will get back to you. Thanks.
