Answer to victor :
Kindly give your feedback to how you think this workshop is going.
* Are your expectations been met?' Yes all my expectation have been met and I am very happen to have participated in this workshop.
* Are there other issues/topics you will like to understand more?
Other things I would like to learn more is as follows
projects management tool available in wiki, issue of creating databases that could be respiratory to info send by wiki colleagues, how to collaborate with the local community on issues partnering to community development projects
from hoatson
Hi Hoatson,
Wao! thats a lot of good work and comments. I will only promise to "attempt" to answer them. I will also use this opportunity to answer the message you have left on my page.
- how can I insert a maths formula like quadratic in my wiki page ?
<math>Insert formula here</math>
I am not a maths genius and have not tried using maths equations on WE before. But everything seams to be possible. It may sometimes require just a plain old try and error method. The Wiki Markup above however may be helpful. It is also in the edit bar and may give you exactly the kind of result you desire. An example of a Maths lesson developed by someone is this. You can search for others using the search box at the left hand menu boxes

- I am not very sure what project management tool you mean. There surly may be some content on WE on Project Management. If there isnt, someone has to create it! Maybe we can collaborate to create it? <smile>. The following Curriculum INDEX may be helpful.
- Collaboration in WE is for OER content creation. If the collaboration you are thinking of to aimed at developing OERs, then there are several tools to assist you develop them. The OLCOS Site may be helpful.
Cheers!!

Hello Victor, The workshop is going on very well, however I have seriously challenged because of my little knowledge in information technology.
Expectations[edit]
I gladly inform you that my expectations are being met, thou from this workshop I need to give myself time to learn more on IT.
Other issues/topics[edit]
It is quite difficult for me to talk about other topics or issues at this stage looking at the challenges am faced with and I feel its up to me try as much as possible to catch up with the topics we have at hand.
Thanks for your concerns and regards.
Moses Tembo.
Dear Moses,
Its nice to have people of different caliber in the same workshop and are struggling to ensure that their challenges are depeated. You are doing very well and will require only more practice here in the WikiEducator community. If you realise that some more IT training will be helpfull for you, go for it.
Cheers!!

*My expectations are indeed being met with an added challenge as to how i will use the newly acquired skills to further my
cause. I am very expectant to see how we (participants to this workshop) will collaborate in the development of free
content and promotion of open resources. *I would like to propose that at the end of this training, we set and agree on some timelines/milestones in which we
will develop at least one free learning resource.
Thanks Brian,
You have hit the ball on a very good point! Miilestones are good for all of us - as a challenge for us to develop ourselves; as a motivator us to acheive our set targets and a clearer way of letting us know if we are getting to our destination(s) or not.

Hi,
Expectations...[edit]
As a user my expectations have been met....the past two days have been very educational for me. I use the internet extensively but I didn't about the existance of such a tool...I am very glad we are having this training. thank you.
Other Topics[edit]
I would like to learn the administrator part of this technology so that I manage a site with users (zcas). i.e the installation, configuration, design and finally hosting.
c-ya.
That is nice to hear. I am glad you are so enthused about this. For the tech-savvy ones like you, the MediaWiki site may be very helpful. There you can get free downloads of the Media Wiki software with instructions on setup. The Wikipedia help category pages can also be very helpful. Joining the WikiEducator community discussions will be your ultimate help.
All the best
