Charter approval

Just read through the charter and am looking forward to participating in this important effort. Charter looks great. I joined and then signed approval.

Although I have signed approval, nonetheless I have one question (outcome doesn't effect my approval). The procedures for creating a workgroup do not require WCC approval in every case, see the formal constitution section on the workgroup guidelines page. This topic didn't seem to me to be a case that would require this step, even given that the workgroup stems from discussion in a WCC meeting.

Just a thought.

I suggest we proceed with the activity (approved or not) and see how important the issue is for the Council. Approval would add weight to the document if ever need arises to refer anyone to it.

Yup, agree to leaving it as is, with the understanding that we can move ahead without "official" approval.

I'm hoping to get a block of time in the next two weeks to take a hard look at the 1st draft.
