shungu has been challenged with internet issues before eve was adam's mistress, before christ created christmas... may i suggest that she compensates her continued absence by a weekly email to everyone that she has gone through the wiki-discussion and make comments, so that we can still feel that she is a part of us.

we had our conference call earlier, as measure to counter our falling behind, we have agreed to catch up on the 923 assignment for the first half of this week. by wednesday we plan on identifying an appropriate case study for 926 as this forms the nucleus of the assignment, and we'll progress from there.

We are on track, our initial cut is with the sub group. We will continue to polish it up, and challenge ourselves. Hopef in the coming week, we can have something decent for the whole group to see and challenge. Pls confirm if anyone has seen the case straudy for Amazon.com? I have had a few response to my email question on the case study, and i appreciate.

Firstly, on behalf of the SABs i would like to apologise for the inconvinience which we might have caused because we promised to email the questionaire latest Tuesday but it was only emailed today. We are on track. We had a conference call between the three of us and we will manage to give the 1st draft by the 24th as promised. We need you guys to speed with the interviews such that we put our things together in time. Again my apology!!

  • Met with the Finance Manager of Renaissance Stockbrokers Uganda
  • Received the last required share price information i.e. performance of the market index
  • Brokers advised that they can share some valuations with us and advise on the Lions final valuation of Uganda Clay.
  • Brokers advised that they have a library where we can obtain Financials for Uganda Clays. We will visit it early this week.
  • Assignment is underway....detailed critiquing on draft 1 will be needed from the Lions if we are to obtain 80%

Luisa, did you see my email regarding my friend's attempt to source more detailed info? the company is not keen to divulge any information other than what is published on the website. The lecturer did emphasise during study school 1 that we should only use information which is for public consumption and not risk using insider information which.

Evelyn, we are progressing well on the information side, although now Shumi and I have to physically go to the brokers library and photocopy annual reports for ugnada clays that are not in electronic form.I would not worry anymore about Tiger brands, thanks for the support. I attetnd church with a journalist of a popular sports magazine, he is of the opinion that Bafana will not be able to win France, and will be knocked out of the world cup on Tuesday. So we will have to wait and see, and perhaps PRAY
