Links to wp articles for formative and summative assessment? | 3 | 05:46, 11 February 2015 |

Would it be useful to include links to wp articles for formative and summative assessment on this page, and for scaffold on next page? Idea would be to offer a definitional link at first use of these terms.
Alison
Excellent suggestion. Yes, we should adopt a definitional link on first of a term in the course.
OK. I added links for these three words...on this and the next page were the first use for each. I used the internal link shortcut "w:" to make the links. I've noticed that there are some wp links in the content that are external and some internal (at least I seem to remember this). What do you want to use as the standard?
The microblog post activity is not in the usual format. It's questions rather than the beginnings of sentences. Is this intended?
Also, the note about not needing the tag in WEnotes is not included. Should this note be included following all mb activities?
Alison
For consistency reasons, It may be better to stay with the usual format.
My original intention was to include the note about not using the tag with WEnotes mb posts in the first learning sequence and then dropping this later in the course. On second thoughts, I think it should be included in all mb activities taking into account that learners may "drop-in" after the start of the course.
OK, I revised the questions to be starter phrases, followed by ... and then calling the tag template. And I'll revise any others I see to use the same format (including the italics).
I do think people will pop in and also skip materials, so having a page be able to stand alone to a certain extent is useful. I added the note to all the existing microblog activities.
DONE.
