Action storyboard example

Professor Gilly Salmon is Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education Innovation) at the University of Western Australia. Gilly is well-known for her work in E-tivities, e-moderation and design for active online learning.

Gilly advocates for a team-based approach for designing E-tivities using a storyboarding technique following the development of a design blueprint. Watch this video which illustrates the use of a storyboard for planning a successful online learning course. The sequence of topics are posted on the storyboard followed by the substantive formative and summative assessment components. This structure assists with the design and sequencing of the online activities for the course.
