Procedure for selecting "hot spots" for our work
Hi friends, I think its time to find a procedure how to select the topics we want to work on first.
We have now collected some 24 good ideas and we should choose which ones are the most promising to work on first, given that we want to have as much success as possible with our project, measured in number of contributors and on-line activity on our platform for physics teachers in Uganda.
I propose to have a kind of asynchronous rating system for our ideas, so to speak every contributor rates our 24 ideas and the ideas with the highest ratings get the preference. --Günther Osswald 14:47, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
However in my view it would be great if we could have a synchronous meeting beforehand to speak all through. Skype offers the possibility to meet as a group online for free, but I'm open for other proposals. Hi Everyone, It has been a long time and the silence is deafining!! Here I suggest we get going in this order
- We craft physics lesson plans on any topic specifially ensuring that they are
- Activity laden
- include real life example descriptions.
- Secondly, we organise physics project ideas or demostrations geared at increasing interest in science.
- Thirdly we have a track that discusses Topics such as Astronomy and Energy or popular technologies such as mobile phones

Hi Wikizens,
I think Vincent's suggestion is o.k only that I think we should not draw fully blown lesson plans
but instead just have hand outs for a given lesson so that people can have the option of crafting them out themselves depending on circumstances. Also giving real life examples of the application of a particular lesson theory should be emphasised.--Pkato 17:30, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
