Will tourism become a ‘future maker’, shaping and contributing to the sustainability of the planet, or ‘future taker’, consuming a disproportionate amount of resources?

What is the future of sustainable tourism? Nobody can answer that definitively. The best we can do is look at plausible possibilities. Do these possibilities lie in areas such as: Responsible Tourism and Voluntourism? Where tourists are more aware and want to experience and participate more with the host community
