YEAR 11 STUDENTS WILL BE PLACED IN SCIENCE CLASSES ON THE BASIS OF THEIR RESULTS IN YEAR 10 AND THE PROFESSIONAL JUDGEMENT OF STAFF
CONTENT
Science 103 course will teach students relevant units of work about the world around them eg weather, biotechnology, energy use in New Zealand homes, ecology while emphasizing the development of literacy and numeracy skills.
ASSESSMENT
- All standards will be internally assessed
- An opportunity to gain literacy and numeracy standards
- The science achievement standards will be done through accumulation of evidence through completion of portfolios of work

$20.00 for workbook
FUTURE POSSIBILITIES
Students who are successful in this course will be eligible for Science 11F, Biology 22S or
Electronics 22F.
