PRE-REQUISITES
Achieved or better in Science (Physics) Achievement Standard 1.1, Mathematics (Algebra) Achievement Standard and 14 plus credits in Science 11F.
CONTENT
Physics is the fundamental description of the physical world we live in. Students will study mechanics, waves, electricity and radioactivity in theory and by carrying out investigations.
People working in industries involving Physics come in and talk to students during the year about what they do and how they became involved in their career.
ASSESSMENT
Total 20 Achievement Standard credits will be available, 4 credits will be internal and 16 credits will be external.

Approximately $30.00 workbook.
FUTURE POSSIBILITIES
Physics is essential for a huge range of careers including all aspects of engineering, hi-tech industries such as software development and IT, medicine, pilot, forensics, electronics and architecture.
