PRE-REQUISITES
Successful completion of 21F Art Photography required. Maturity, enthusiasm, ability to work independently. Access to a digital camera with aperture priority mode is required. Please see Mr Soltero in November for camera purchasing advice, if you do not already own one.

CONTENT
Develop and extend your ideas in a mature body of art/design/photography work with teacher guidance. Produce a sophisticated art/design folio that can form the basis of your submission if you wish to apply to any art/design/photography based tertiary programme. Guidance is provided for all tertiary applications.

ASSESSMENT
16-26 Level 3 credits possible (both internal and external assessments apply)

COST
Access to a digital camera with aperture priority mode required.
$60 includes:

• Art pack
• Group resources
• Photocopying and basic materials

NB: Supplementary materials required during the year; amount varies between students
Courier fee of $10 and folio printing fee charged early Term 2.
Print credit must be maintained.

FUTURE POSSIBILITIES
Gain entry to a range of tertiary courses, eg. Art Design, Photography, Film and Video, Animation, Web. Entry to all University and Polytechnic Visual Arts related courses is by portfolio submission of work produced in this class. Students considering studying Fine Arts at University must enrol in two of the following courses - 31F Art Design, 31F Art Photography, 31F Painting - see Mr Soltero for more information.
