CONTENT
This course focuses on the Health and Physical Education curriculum. It is an academic course where you will undertake theory and practical sessions. It will offer you the opportunity to experience and participate in a range of physical activities, in a variety of contexts. You will study a number of Physical Education topics such as:
- Interpersonal Skills – Touch Rugby
- Structure and function of the Human Body in the context of Basketball
- Helping others be active
- Learning about self management strategies in the context of surfing
- Physical performance and quality in the context of athletics and basketball
- Analysis of Performance in the context of circus skills
ASSESSMENT
Total 20 Level 1 credits, all Achievement Standards internally assessed.
