MATHEMATICS 102 (Full Year) - MAT12F

PRE-REQUISITES
Students will be placed in Mathematics classes by the Mathematics Department.
CONTENT
This course further develops knowledge in
- Number and Algebra
- Geometry and Measurement
- Statistics
with particular emphasis on the key skills required for students to progress through to Level 2 courses in Mathematics. Students will develop critical skills and understanding over fewer topics.
ASSESSMENT
Achievement standard assessments giving up to 22 Level 1 credits. Most of the Achievement Standards will be internally assessed.
COST
$25 for a homework book (subject to change) Scientific Calculator essential.
FUTURE POSSIBILITIES
This course provides students with the core skills required for progression to Statistics 21S, Mathematics 21F and / or Mathematics 22F.
