MATHEMATICS 101 (Full Year) - MAT11F
TEACHER IN CHARGE: Mr Truesdale
PRE-REQUISITES
Students will be placed in Mathematics classes by the Mathematics Department.
CONTENT
This course further develops knowledge in
- Number and Algebra,
- Geometry and Measurement
- Statistics
and enhances problem solving skills and mathematical thinking. Maths skills and concepts essential for students wishing to continue studying maths beyond this Level are developed and placed in a meaningful context whenever possible.
ASSESSMENT
Achievement Standard assessments giving up to 23 Level 1 credits.
COST
$20-$25 for a homework book (subject to change). Scientific calculator is essential.
FUTURE POSSIBILITIES
This is an essential course for students wishing to take Mathematics in Year 12.
