HEALTH EDUCATION 31F (Full Year) - HEA31F

PRE-REQUISITES
Health 21F or Level 1 literacy.
CONTENT
This course builds on the knowledge developed in Level 2 and extends knowledge about health issues to a much deeper level of understanding. You will address key health issues and critically examine the effect of health determinants on wellbeing at a personal, interpersonal and societal level. Topics covered include but are not limited to - body image, ethical issues, drug use/misuse and HIV.
NB: Health education is an approved subject.
ASSESSMENT
19 Level 3 credits assessed by Achievement Standards and Unit Standards.
COST
$150.00 approximately to cover cost of 3 day camp
