PRE REQUISITES
Level 1 Literacy essential
CONTENT
This course builds on the skills developed in Level 1 and extends the knowledge of the main concepts of Health education. You will be required to think critically about yourself, others and society through a variety of contexts. Topics include:
- sexuality and gender
- alcohol use and misuse
- personal safety
- promoting health throughout the school - students will be required to develop and offer their own opinions in this class
- Mental health and resilience
ASSESSMENT
A total of 24 Level 2 credits will be offered.
