PRE-REQUISITES
ESOL Unit Standards at Level 4 or post-intermediate level of English, and doing a full Year 13 course of study.

CONTENT
This course offers the NCEA Level 2 English Writing and Reading Achievement Standards needed for university entrance. Students will be encouraged to improve their speaking and listening skills, and to give reasoned oral and written responses to a range of situations and texts.

ASSESSMENT
Both Achievement and Unit Standards apply. The course includes both internal and external assessments and gives students the opportunity to acquire the Level 2 English literacy standards needed for University entrance
