ELECTRONICS - ROBOTOCS & PROGRAMMING 11F (Full Year) - ELE11F

PRE-REQUISITES
Suitable for students who will take 6 subjects.
CONTENT
The course is practically based with an emphasis on collaborative project work. Students will construct several circuits and learn the essential skills of soldering, component recognition, using a multimeter and making printed circuit boards. Alongside this, students will study the processes and means by which their projects work. Students will program their electronics project and learn a computing language.
ASSESSMENT
19 Achievement Standard credits which will be a combination of practical, theory and portfolios.
COST:
$20.00 for basic materials, $10.00 print credit and an optional $80.00 to take the robot home.
FUTURE POSSIBILITIES
Year 12 Electronics course or Year 13 Electronics course
Year 12 programming and computer science half year course leading onto Year 13 programming as a full year course.
