ELECTRONICS 302 - ELE302

PRE-REQUISITES
From 14 credits including either 18241 or Year 12 18239 Physics Electricity.
CONTENT
Electronics is a practical course designed to prepare students for further study and work in the Electronics Industry. Unit standards which lead to the National Certificate in Electronics Technology Level 3 are offered.
Topics Include: Semi conductor devices, digital circuits, signal transmission, electronic products and microprocessors.
ASSESSMENT
Total 24 Level 3 credits – all internally assessed unit standards
This one year course leads to the National Certificate in Technology if 16 further credits at level 3 are obtained in two of the following subjects – Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Computing.
