TEACHER IN CHARGE: Ms Versteeg
CONTENT
This course aims to display knowledge of dance history, choreographic elements, incorporate structures and demonstrate devices in choreography. Students must generate movement ideas and present through group choreography and solo dances. Students are required to participate in dance workshops and dance in a performance.
ASSESSMENT
Total 28 Level 3 credits, all Achievement Standards – 4 external and 24 internal. Assessment includes:
- Achievement Standards
- Teacher evaluation
- Peer assessment
- Live performance
- Written theory
COST
$25.00 to cover admission to live performances and/or guest tutors.
