TEACHER IN CHARGE: Ms Versteeg
CONTENT
The course aims to widen student’s knowledge in Dance through choreography, performance history, viewing and responding to dance. Students will expand their knowledge of dance technique and choreographic skills. Students are required to participate in dance workshops with external dance tutors and present both solo and group performances.
ASSESSMENT
Total 28 credits, all Achievement Standards – 8 external and 20 internal. Assessment used includes:
- Achievement standards
- Teacher evaluation
- Peer assessment
- Live performance
- Written theory
COST
$25.00 to cover admission to live performances and/or guest tutors.
