DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY 201 - DGT201

PRE-REQUISITES
None, although success in CSSI101 is good preparation for this course.
CONTENT
This course aims to develop knowledge and skills in the use of a computer system. Students will use a range of software applications and techniques to develop technological solutions. This course caters for novice to advanced.
The course is broken down into the following sections:
- PC systems and hardware
- Programming
- Digital media
- Technology in society
- Digital Information
ASSESSMENT
Level 2, all Unit Standards. Students will have the opportunity to work towards the National Certificate in Computing (L 2). One or more Achievement Standards may be entered by suitable students.
COST
$15.00 for print credit (minimum)
