VISUAL ARTS 201 - Painting - PTG201

PRE-REQUISITES
Successful completion of Year 11 Visual Arts folio required. Students who have not achieved with their folio in Year 11 Visual Arts must consult with Mr Soltero
CONTENT
Students use their own ideas and subject matter with a variety of contemporary Art Painting techniques, media and processes. Students research a variety of Artists and demonstrate an understanding of established practice.
ASSESSMENT
24 Level 2 credits possible (both internal and external assessments apply)
COST
$60 (includes access to group resources, photocopying & basic materials). Supplementary materials required during the year; amount varies between students (eg.pencils, sketchbooks, print credit)
Print credit must be maintained.
FUTURE POSSIBILITIES
Successful completion of this course gives students entry to 301 Painting. Students considering studying Fine Arts at Canterbury University must enrol in two of the following courses: 201 Art Design, 201 iCreate, 201 Painting - see Mr Soltero for more information.
