Accounting 301 - ACC301
TEACHER IN CHARGE: Mr Warren
PRE-REQUISITES
Students must have at least 12 credits in Level 1 or 2 Accounting.
Other students need to see the teacher in charge before being granted entry.
CONTENT
A major emphasis is on:
- Final account preparation for partnerships and companies
- Providing information for managers to help with decision making with a focus on manufacturing businesses.
ASSESSMENT
Total 24 Level 3 credits, all Achievement Standards and internally and externally assessed.
COST
$30.00 for three workbooks
FUTURE POSSIBILITIES
There are University and Polytechnic courses which major in accounting. Students with accounting qualifications can gain employment in a range of businesses both in New Zealand and overseas.
