Accounting 201 - ACC201

None. (Accounting 101 an advantage)
CONTENT
Accounting at this level is the study of how firms record their income and spending and how these firms report on their progress to their owners. There is an introduction to Accounting section. The course then focuses on accounting sub-systems, in the areas of cash, credit transactions and inventory and accounting reports. Hands-on computer work with accounting package MYOB is one of the assessments.
ASSESSMENT
Total 24 Level 2 credits, all Achievement Standards and internally and externally assessed.

$5.00 minimum for print paper
$22.00 for workbook
FUTURE POSSIBILITIES
The natural progression from this course is to Accounting 301. Various pathways exist to develop an interest in a career in Accounting. Universities and Polytechnics provide advanced courses.
