OERu partners met at North-West University on October 7th to 9th, 2015.
Dave Lane has joined the Open Education Resource Foundation as an Open Source Technologist. A group of the OERu partners have contributed to support increasing our technical capability. Dave is currently the President of the New Zealand Open Source Society and brings 21 years of open source development and leadership experience to the OERu network,
Building on the previous year's launch of the OERu, representatives from the partner institutions met at The University of Tasmania on November 6th and 7th, 2014.
The OER Foundation organised a planning meeting of the OERu anchor partners. The meeting was held on 31 October and 01 November 2013 at Thompson Rivers University, Kamloops, BC Canada. An online open seminar to plan the agenda hosted by SCoPE preceded it.
The OER Foundation organised a successful planning meeting of the OERu founding anchor partners in Dunedin on 9-10 November 2011. Support from UNESCO allowed the open planning meeting to be streamed live on the web, allowing active participation from those that couldn't attend in person.
Towards an OER university: Free learning for all students worldwide. UNESCO and the OER Foundation announce a strategic international meeting to be hosted in Dunedin on 23 February to commence planning for the provision of free learning to all students worldwide.
