Objectives

Demonstrate an understanding of the functions of regional and international trade organizations. Demonstrate an understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of regional and international trade organizations. Analyse and understand one’s place in the economic landscape. Evaluate the relevant information to make the economic choices.

Reflection

You must understand how important the international trade agreements are as they may affect the Caribbean, either positively or negatively. It is necessary to become more aware of the regional trade agreements that are presently being proposed as they affect Trinidad and Tobago, and thus develop your own views on them as regards your impact on the individual, family, community and society.
