The Todd Foundation have very generously made available the opportunity for Polytechnic students to apply for Awards for Excellence (Polytechnic) Link to the Todd Foundation web page

In 2008 the Todd Foundation began offering scholarships for polytechnic students in their last year of study for research projects that have a practical application in NZ. The scholarships are offered on an annual basis in four categories:

  • Science and Technology (including Agriculture and Conservation)
  • Engineering and Manufacturing (including Architecture and Design)
  • Business and Commerce; and Health
  • Social Sciences.

This scholarship is administered by UNITEC on behalf of the Metro Group of Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics of New Zealand.

Applications close on 10 April and are considered by the Todd Foundation in June. This funding is for students studying at a Polytechnic @ level 7 or above who wish to undertake a research project and is ideally suited to Masters research.
