About Us
Straight Talk Foundation originated out of Straight Talk newspaper that was first published in 1993 and funded by UNICEF. Today, Straight Talk Foundation is a health communication NGO that produces Behavioral Change Communication materials for adolescents and important adults in the lives of adolescents such as teachers and parents. The broad objective of STF is to contribute to the improved mental, social and physical development of Ugandan adolescents (10-19) and young adults (20-24). The programme also aims to keep its audience safe from HIV/STD infection and early pregnancy and to manage challenging circumstances such as conflict and deprivation.
