About Us

Sierra eRiders is an initiative of the Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA). We are working with the Community Radio Network in Sierra Leone (CORNET-SL). We are offering them ICT capacity building and organising ICT training workshops for them. Training them basic computer skills in both FOSS and Windows. We teaching radio staff how to use the computer and softwares like Windows and Ubuntu Linux Operating Systems; Audacity and Cool Edit for transferring, editing and converting audio files; Cowbell for editing Tracks tag or information; Campcaster for broadcasting live and remotely, and also for transferring and sharing audio files and report through a network hub. We also do computer and studio installation, and maintenance.

We offer technology assistance and ICT support to to other community and non-profit organisations. Our main focus is of the community radio network.
