Learning Summary: Religious belief systems across Asia and the Pacific

At the end of this module you should be able to identify and explain the principal religious traditions of Asia and the Pacific. This is a region replete with many and varied religious traditions. After having selected a specific religious tradition to study, you should also be able to list the key ideas of your chosen religious tradition, identifying and describing the central source books, written record (if any), or oral traditions. You should also be able to identify and explain the ways in which your selected religion has influenced the behaviour and society of a state in the Asia-Pacific region where it is practised.
