weCreate is an initiative to foster open discussions and workshop events about Creative Commons licensing and its applicibility to educational material used and created in New Zealand schools. It arises directly out of our government's endorsement of the New Zealand Open Access and Licensing framework, the work of the Open Education Resource Foundation to support a culture of open education and Creative Commons' remit to work with communities that benefit from the licences.
