Hi Steve,
Aggreed - finding a replacement qual is a good strategy. Looking at this from the Polytechnic's perspective, a future Level 5 course need not lead to its own qualification in sustainable practice, but could be incorporated into other credentials at the Poly as an elective serving a wider student base across multiple schools.
I think there are justifiable grounds for OP to have a general elective in this space at Level 5 given our strategic commitment to sustainable practices.
