Learning can be frustrating

Jump to: navigation, search

Hi. I'm using this to express some confusion. Tutorial 8 tells me to look for a discussion thread that I can't find. I know that once I catch on, everything will be fine, but I find that very little of the work here takes 20-30 minutes, yet I am so determined to make sense of it that I spend probably an excessive amount of time on learning this. I am not at all certain I will be in any position to help my students use wiki since I already have trouble helping them figure out how to use their campus email.

Hi Julie,

You're making sterling progress :-). Your dedication will be rewarded -- and don't worry about your student community. They are most welcome to sign for any of our monthly training sessions. The WikiEducator community is here to help!

Well spotted -- our facilitation team had forgotten to add the test thread for the L4C tutorials -- sorry about that. Have added a test thread above. However, I see you have mastered adding a new thread as evidenced by your question above. Well done!

Cheers Wayne

Thanks for the response, Wayne. I was sure that I had made an error when I couldn't access the test thread. I feel much better already and look forward to getting back to work on Tutorial 8.

Best wishes,

Julie

Hang in there Julie - it does take some time to become a WikiMaster! You're doing the right thing - reaching out when you get stuck, or too frustrated. We have a strong community of support to help you - because we've all been there... - Randy Fisher 23:14, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
