Welcome to the Student-Generated Content portal (Comment.gif: This top page should have more of a portal feel.)

Why this portal?

This portal is being developed to support the activities of K12 students developing OER. It is built on the belief that if we are to assist students in learning how to learn in the 21st century then we have to support them in creating the curricula themselves. Once we have the students generating and localizing the OER, then we have the greatest possibility of meeting the MDG.

What's currently going' on?

Promoting the idea

  1. Engage the community via Google groups
  2. Search and Monitor WE for aligned projects and initiatives
  3. Engage the net via blogging, twitter, etc.
