It is really good to see this evolution of the Wiki Community, happening as it is from the bottom up, with formations such as this Community Council emerging as a result of the many discussions and debates that have been taking place as all of us seek to deal with the challenges involved in developing free quality educational content.
I have been a part of the Wiki community since 2006, working with the team developing the CCNC. Subsequently I have participated in one of the Learning4Content workshops and I am now a Wikibuddy.
In the wider ODL field, I function as a curriculum development specialist at the University of the West Indies. More and more these days, I am also involved in the design of student support systems given UWI's recent movement into online learning.
