Introduction
This course addresses various components of the ‘Life Skills’ education. According to World Health Organisation (1993), Life Skills Education is also known as Skills-Based Education. It is a type of education that focuses on the development of abilities for adaptive and positive behaviour that enables individuals to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life.
Goal
This Life Skills course focuses on the following three (3) broad areas:
- Psychosocial Skills – Intra and Inter-personal;
- Societal Skills;
- Occupational and Livelihood Skills.
This will require the acquisition of knowledge, skills, attitudes and values into the self and daily practice.

- Certificate - 120 student learning hours
