Hi Wayne and Sue Just looked at the questions for evaluating the modules and made two brief additions. Yes, I agree that a complete SWOT analysis may be too much - just strengths and weaknesses using the questions provided as a guide. I am thinking though that an overall holisitic comment may be a useful addition to the evaluation. There is one thing that was going through my mind in reponse to the 'completeness' section, but I just could not phrase it as a question - that is the sense of completeness that the learner should experience having completed the course. Talk to you again later. Olabisi

Hi,

I have suggested that UWIDEC reviews module 4.

National and Transnational Curriculum Framework for WE

Hi Olabisi Kuboni,

Leigh Blackall working with Otago Polytechnic in Educational Development has set up a page for discussions on WE framework of National and Transnational curriculum in the WikiEducator gorup on Google Groups. The discussions are very much interesing and constructive. All WE community members are warm welcome to make it a permanent venue for discussions on Curricula. The intermediate outputs on the discussions will be added/ linked to the Curriculum Project Node ( http://www.wikieducator.org/Curriculum_INDEX ) on WE

Congratulations on becomming a WIkibuddy

Hi Olabisi

Congrats on your status of Wikibuddy. I may contact you in the near future. I'm think of a short news piece collecting a few thoughts and reflections from the first cohort of Wikibuddies that achieved their status through the L4C initative <smile>

Cheers

Thanks for the heads-up, Wayne. It did take some 'effort', but I am glad I did it. It certainly helped me clear up some of the grey areas from the CCNC module experience (which I have to go back to). About the learning contract. Can I make a change? Instead of a professional development session, I would like to work on an extract from some student support material that we already have on Improving Reading Skills. In which case, my submission date could be much earlier - about mid March. Is that OK?

Thanks for all your commitment and energy over the last few days.

Olabisi

Sure no problems with changing the content focus of the learning contract.

Your work on the CCNC would also qualify <smile>.

Cheers
