Slideshow formats
Hi Mohammad.
The reason why you cant upload .ppt and .odt files is because these file formats have yet to be enabled on Wiki educator. To date we have not had any requests for these formats. When we set up the wiki - we did not anticipate the demand for uploading slide show presentations! Is this for uploading presentations given at the bootcamp? or is this for presentations you are preparing for the workshop materials?
It will take a few days for me to get .odt formats enabled - Our sysadmin is travelling at the moment. I'm reluctant to enable .ppt formats as this is not an open standard. In the meantime, you can use open office to convert ppt files to pdf, or .swf. Sorry about that - but the best I can do at this time. --Mackiwg 05:38, 16 March 2007 (CET) . Hope this helps.
