I looked through the section in my book with the chart questions. They seem to be all identification. I haven't found any that require much / any calculation.

Plan a flight from Spruce Creek to Sarasota-Bradenton SRQ. You can use the Flight Flan form attached as a guide. For weather, make it whatever the current weather is when you work on the plan. Just make a note of what you use.

Jeppesen - You said you had a book. What is it called? What year does it cover? How are you using it? How far did you get on your own? Did you sign up for the online course?

  • The jeppesen I’m using is called guided flight discovery, Private Pilot. Published 2018
  • I have not signed up online. I’ve been reading through the vocabulary and taking the quizzes.

Looking through some of the online ground school courses, they estimate that students will take about 35 hours to cover the material. You will need to spend additional time studying and practicing for the test. When do you want to be ready to take the written test? What is the most hours you can work on ground school per week? We can work out a schedule for you with that in mind.
