This podcast is a bit on the long side (46:18 mins.), but very interesting none the less to listen to his ideas and theories if you have the time.
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yn_DoKxBJAw This podcast is about the impact of technology on the film industry. It provides great information about the evolution of film-making and how it has transformed. It talks about the techniques that great filmmakers in the past have utilized and how they are still found today, but it even goes in detail to talk about how new innovations are still made. I especially recommend this movie because it uses great use of audios and visuals to reiterate points.

- http://ezinearticles.com/?How-Computers-Benefit-Society&id=1095684 I found this lecture on how computers benefit society, it talks and gives examples of the three main reason why computers benefit us, by creating more information technology professions, creating new automobile safety features, and opening ground-breaking communication methods.
This is a great positive attitude on computers besides the bad things that computers can cause us it shows us how much they help us. It also provides different links to do an extent research on computer articles. ..LG
- http://web1.caryacademy.org/facultywebs/joselyn_todd/AMTP/pfh/podcasts_from_the_heart.htm This page has podcasts from students about medical technology including personal stories from those using the technology. The page has very specific instructions about how to use the podcasts. I listened to some to see if they could be helpful in this course, and I found that they could add a lot of discussions about technological advancement in the medical field. I know one group did a project on medical technology, and I think that these podcasts could enhance that work. Some even teach some of the new technology. ..MH
- http://forum.wgbh.org/lecture/wendy-kopp-realizing-educational-opportunity-all This lecture talks about how a program called Teacher for America are teaching in low income neighborhoods and how making education available to all students regardless of their background will effect the development of our future leaders. The program also discusses expanding to other countries and using technology to share information and spread education throughout many foreign schools and raise awareness for educational programs.
I think it related to this course because even though we use Catalyst to work together and work on our education, the same type of technology can be used to educate others and help teachers network around different countries to help others get the same opportunities that we do. ..LS
