My Name is Smriti Shukla. I am currently pursuing a under graduate program in English Literature from Deen Dayal Upadhayaya College,University of Delhi, New Delhi, India. I also involve myself studies of information technology to prepare myself for ever changing world.

As a person, I have opinions on everything but do not like to speak more than required. However, have a passion for writing, and presently trying to enhancing my skills. People close to my circle call me Perfectionist, and I really love this compliment!! In brief, a prestigious school offing, a propitious family background has dispensed the distinction in my personality.

How I Became a WikiEducator

I consider myself as a lucky person that i have introduced to this amazing idea of open source education at India/L4C_India_08 workshop sponsored by the Commonwealth of Learning and headed by two WikiEducators - Dr. Savithri_Singh and Mr. Anil prasad. We were introduced to the concepts of Open source, Open educational resources, the Creative commons licensing, Wikieducator.
The participants understood the value of open source to build educational resources. The value of wikieducator was rapidly understood and also its user friendliness.
