Sarah's #DS4OER short course will be a lesson on the basics of reading sheetmusic for singers. I will call it "What's the score?"
What's the score?
A short course in reading sheetmusic designed for singers with no or limited music theory or training.
It will include:
- basic time-signatures
- reading rhythms - which notes are fast and which are slow
- reading pitch - following the blobs as they go up and down
- major and minor scales and those pesky sharps and flats
- some good exercises to get you on a path to singing by sight
