Raul Rubio Melus
About me
My name is Raul Rubio and I was born in Zaragoza (Spain).
I currently work for the Spanish Agency of International Cooperation and Development as a Spanish Lecturer in beautiful Saint Kitts and Nevis. I teach Spanish as a second language at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College and assist Foreign Language departments in different high schools across the Federation.
I have a Master's Degree in English Philology and I'm mostly interested in foreign language teaching and second language acquisition. I view Wikieducator as both a platform to grow professionally and as an opportunity to enhance my teaching style. I believe that languages are to be used outside the classroom and therefore I acknowledge the great potential online learning has in second language instruction in terms of motivation, peer interaction, access to multimedia resources, the World Wide Web...
My focus in WikiEducator is to create a reference page for teachers of Spanish as a second language in which to share web-resources and materials to be used in our classes.
