Prerequisite Knowledge and Skills: Basics of using a web browser
Purpose: Understanding what are Google Docs and how they can enhance collaboration, communication in a classroom setting.
INTRODUCTION (5 minutes) SLIDE #1 WELCOME SLIDE
Welcome to Google Docs overview. This is not a hands-on training session of how to use Google Docs, but an overview of the Google Docs applications. Hands-on training of these applications will be offered through ITS Training Services throughout the semester. In addition there are Lynda.com tutorials as well as on-line help and blogs from Google. A list of these resources will be provided to you at the end of the session.
