My name is Olive Wambui and I live in Nairobi the capital city of Kenya. I work as a curriculum specialist at the Kenya Institute of Education which is the country's Institute mandated to do curriculum research and development for all levels of schooling except the university. Curriculum in the country is centralised. The KIE website
Prior to working in the Institute I was a teacher trainer in one of the country's teacher training colleges.
I have worked with a diverse group of people and am very keen and passionate about children's health. I am a founder member of the GlaxoSmithKline funded project on Personal Hygiene and Sanitation Education that started in Kenya. It is now being run by African Medical Research Foundation(AMREF)in Kenya
I have a masters degree in education from Monash university,Victoria,Australia. I have a bachelors degree in education(Home Science)
I have milliad interests such as reading books with true stories,on self improvement. I like travelling and watching great sceneries. I love nature,the beauty of plants and animals. I laugh often and just like being happy. I do lots of Internet browsing on interesting topics to read.
