Hi. I am Jieni Taoba-Mitimeti. I am the current Principal of Niue High School. I been involved in the teaching profession for over 20 years and I am still very passionate about the teaching and learning processes. I am a teacher in the technology area but have been teaching English for the last two terms and I am enjoying it. I enjoy teaching soft materials although I am interested in having a go at hard materials too. It is my intention that all members of my staff be taken through as much professional development sessions as possible so that they can have as much choices as possible in accessing information that can help them professionally.
Niue High School is the only secondary school in Niue and we are very limited in terms of resources. Teachers are always facing problems in terms of sharing ideas and getting professional opinions about their curriculum areas so we will welcome help from as many people as possible.
