I am Martyna Foday a Sierra Leonean living in Freetown.I was born in Mano Dasse in Moyamba District,southern Sierra Leone.I am at present the Co-ordinator of the distance education unit at Freetown Teachers College.This college is a dual mode institution training teachers for both the primary and junior secondary schools in the country. Before becoming the Co-ordinator I was a senoir lecturer in the mathematics department of the college.I have within the past four years been able to to establish eleven distance education centres out of the thirteen districts in the country to train teachers for the primary schools . I am involved in peace building activities in schools and in environmental advocacy in the country.I also like traveling ,enjoy watching football and actively involved in my local church activities. my scratchpad/my Practice Area
