Preparing and Submission of Assignments
You have to study prepare and submit one assignment for each of the courses that you have been registered for. Assignments must be downloaded and printed for your use. You can download the required assignment here. Please read the same very carefully and check the date of submission. Also read the instructions given on how to prepare your assignment response. Simple matters like the size of paper, the type of paper to be used, broad margins on either side of the page, handwritten assignments, your detailed particulars (name, programme code, enrolment number, contact details, course code, study centre code) on the front page and the format to be used, must be adhered to. This makes it easier for assignment handling at various levels.
You must start working on your assignments early. If you tend to put it off, you will find that there is no time to complete the work. Keep a note of the dates for submission. Do not wait until the last date. You may feel pressure building if you do this. Instead work regularly at steady pace and in right earnest from the very beginning. Attend Counselling sessions. They will help you to understand the subject better and you will feel more confident to write out a good assignment response.
Prepare a rough draft of your assignment response. Check whether you are satisfied with the assignment in all respects. Ensure that the assignment is entirely your own work. Try to apply what you have learnt. When the final draft is ready, take a photocopy of the entire assignment and get an acknowledgement on the same copy when you visit the study centre for submission. If it is not possible to submit it in person and you decide to send it by post, please preserve the postal acknowledgement slip and keep it with the copy of the assignment in your file.
Remember that it is mandatory for a learner to submit the assignment before taking the term end examination. Learners will not be issued the hall tickets/admit cards for the term end examination if the assignments are not submitted within the due dates prescribed. Remember to insist on return of the evaluated assignments from your study centre.
