This resource contains a list of the buttons available on the WYSISYG editor and explains briefly what each one is.

 

Button	Description	Example
	Wikitext: Clicking this button will show you the wikitext.	e.g.
	Cut: This allows you to highlight and then cut a piece of text
	Copy: This allows you to highlight and then copy a piece of text
	Paste: This allows you to paste a piece of selected text
	Print: Clicking this button will allow you to print the page.
	Undo: Clicking this will undo the last piece of editing that you did.
	Redo: Clicking this button will redo an edit that you have just undone.
	Find: This will allow you to find a word
	Replace: This allows you to replace a found word with an alternative word.
	Select All: This will select all the text and formatting on your page.
	Remove format: This will remove the last piece of formatting that you did.
	Insert special character: This will allow you to insert a special character.
	Insert/Edit table: This allows you to insert and edit a table.
	Insert/Edit image: This allows you to insert / edit an image.
	Insert horizontal line: This will insert a horizontal line on your page.	e.g.
	Insert/Edit template: This will allow you to select / insert a template into your page.
	Insert/Edit special Tag: This will allow you to insert a tag onto your page.
	Insert/Edit Reference: This allows you to insert a reference into your text / page.	e.g.
	Insert <references/> tag: This will insert the references tag onto your page.	e.g.
